Whether it's a history of trauma, difficult experiences, or making everyone but you a priority, we all have healing to do. Although we are innately capable of healing, we often need support in doing so. When we fall and scrape ourselves we don't need to coach it to heal, it does so on it's own. But if we do not take care, proceed with caution, and create a supportive environment for it to heal, the scrape can easily become problematic and long lasting. 


This understanding can also be applied to our emotional health. Like a mosaic, there are many facets that make up not only who we are, but the picture of our health. Some of these facets include our sense of purpose, nutrition, spirituality, and our stress management. By assessing the various facets, making improvements to what we can control, in addition to healing from our experiences, we create the supportive environment needed to be our optimal selves.
